This is a short history of how we started this company and where are we now:
The beginning of the road
Our owner, Jay Dunbar, entered the security industry, working for his father's East Midlands based security company. The business was a very successful SME with a turnover of around £400,000.00.By 2004 Jay Dunbar, had helped grow his fathers business to a £1.5 Million turnover business, managing clients across the east midlands & the country. Clients included a Duke & Duchess, Local & National Government organisations a long list of corporations.
Facilitas was Born
After Jay's father had retired due to ill health and the business had been sold to new owners, Jay decided the time was right to start to go it alone, and Facilitas was born.
Our First Year
2011 was a great year for Facilitas, the company grew very quickly and soon added several additional services and clients to it's portfolio. The company went from being a local based FM Company to a national FM company within a few months.Strength to Strength
2012 year was another great year for Facilitas, we double our turnover and acquired an East Midlands based FM company.Growth through Acquisition
Facilitas completed a take over of ailing East Midlands based Security Company Guardwell and what was left of a failed commercial & domestic franchised cleaning company Merry Maids of Nottingham.
